Deadly Waters by Dot Hutchison5/27/2023 ![]() ![]() Other thoughts and notes as with the later books in the Collector series, the pacing was slow and this time, my favourite characters weren't even there to hold it up. Conflicted as to what it means for the future books. I was in the middle of working out at the gym when the audiobook ended, and I was definitely making some sort of shocked face or another. What if it brings the male fury down more violently onto women? There's too many social arguments here, it's a big can of worms. It's with the way society has raised them. The story focused more on justice, or the huge lack of it. My expectations were along the lines of series of unsettling murders unfolding, amongst the humid temperatures and gators of Florida. Don't feel like it's as good as Hutchinson's previous series. ![]() I have a lot of mixed feelings about the story as well as everything that happened. Okay so this wasn't exactly bad, but it wasn't good either. ![]()
